Badass 17 minute long jam award: "Dogs" by Pink Floyd. Their Animals album is sick (and i mean that in the good way.... like the p h version of phat way).
Gold Star: "Wicked Game" by Chris Isaak. This made gold star because it makes me cry (what doesnt, seriously? im so affected by the world. oh well. better than being numb.) and i find the his voice haunting. You can hear the agony through his lyrics. The fact that the music video is a black and white soft core porn doesnt hurt either:
Doubtful song of the day: "The Sound of Settling" by Death Cab for Cutie. Really Death Cab? This song is what settling sounds like? Really? See, i pictured something less cool. Cuz the song is cool and i like it, but settling sounds like something that i never would want to do or think was cool. So im conflicted. Oh Death Cab, the things you do to me.
Story of the last few days of my life song of the day: "Crazy" by Seal. Im always down for a little crazy now and then. For real. BTW he married Heidi Klum. Nice right?
Thats it for today. Short and sweet. Ive been trying to do other things that dont involve computers or technology, so blogging has been less than convenient. Dont worry guys, we will still have 283 days to hang out and talk about music. Thanks for being loyal through my lame short posts (all 3 of you who read this. Im in denial. I think im famous. Dont bring me down just yet, im having a blast).
