Okay so i ended up watching the last half of Jailhouse Rock, a movie from the 50's staring Elvis. All Im gonna say is i was about to jump the screen he was so effing hot. i mean seriously... good looking dude

"And Your Bird Can Sing" by The Beatles is the anthology version, its hilarious. You can hear John cracking up laughing, i think Paul may be too. Hahahah it is great to hear them laughing, it makes them seem almost human.
Emo ala 10th grade award: "It Ends Tonight" by The All-American Rejects. I hate how easily it gets stuck in my head!!!
Make me feel pimp award: "Imma Shine" by YoungBloodz. Props to cawr, yo. This came on while i was crusin through the mall parking lot, i blasted it and felt pretty pimp. (as you couldnt have guessed from the title of the award)
Hidden gem award: "Mountain" by State Radio. I dont think i remember conciously listening to this song before, or paying a lot of attention to it. But it sounds great on my car stereo and is pretty bad ass. Killer electric guitar riff intro. Suprisingly enough this song is not about driving over to State College. Strange.
gold star of the day: "Gone Away From Me" by Ray Lamontague. (right click and press "save target as" or "download linked file") It is a beautiful ballad of love and loss. It is just simple enough to convey everything. I love Ray's smokey voice and acoustic guitar chords.
Lately I can't seem to find myself no sleep at all

cliche pop/rock song but i love it song of the day: "I Don't Wanna Be in Love" by Good Charlotte. It played right as i was feeling a little love bitter. Well done boys, well done.
So it is snowing on my way home from Altoona and im coming up to the light by Snappy's. Some A-hole behind me starts to tailgate, obviously thinking he was going to pass me. Then "Freak of a Leash" by Korn came on. He did not pass me. I dont want to put too many details on here because my mom tends to browse this blog from time to time, and kind of is concerned with my well being, but i guess i was harder to beat than the A-hole thought...
I found myself singing along to all the harmonies of "Like a Child" by Jars of Clay and am not sure how i know them so well. I guess hearing it for all of these years with Schen left an impression. I can never get over the beeping in the background though... i always think its our waffle iron going off.
Most fitting song award: "Upside Down" by Jack Johnson. The lyrics are definately fitting for the last few days:
