So i started listening to my playlist this morning at 8:30 while i showered. The first 3 songs made for great sing-a-long material with my showers acoustics. I expecially loved the suprise awesomeness of "Part of the Queue" by Oasis, it reminded me of how much i love that whole album.

For anyone who doesnt know, "Dragostea Din Tei" by O-Zone is that "Mai-Ya-Hee" song that the kid did on youtube with the glasses and the chair and the numa numa dancing. How effing 2005 was that? I didnt know it was on the playlist for today, i couldnt resist dancing along a little bit.

Best Back-To-Back Combo: "Angel of Music" from Phantom of the Opera, then "Maria" from West Side Story. Total theatre geek.

Hidden Gem: "Tunnelvision" by Here We Go Magic. This is another free random download that i havent really listened to. It sounds like The Delays had a baby with "Cecilia" era Simon and Garfunkel. Its simple and not really lifechanging, but i dig it.

skinny white guy trying to be a black female gospel singer song of the day: "A Change is Gonna Come" by Corey Chisel and The Wandering Sons. The first line? "I was born by the river..." haha its a cool song though, lots of soul. Not my favorite by him though, i dont think anything will ever beat "Home in the Woods" or "Gettin' By"

laugh out loud award: "Sister" by 2gether. Schen and i were listening to it on the couch and lost it at the chorus. hahahah youtube it.

Okay... so i had this mini obsession last fall with British/Indian Banghra music. Downloading a torrent file with 240 songs in it was a good idea at the time.... "Dhulla" by RGB is one of the most retarded things ive had to to listen to... there was this screaming in the background and shotgun shots, plus the indian clarinet horns and bongo drums and a guy screech singing in some other language.... WHY did i download this??? The guy in the background seriously sounds like he is dying, probably because he is trapped inside the worst track known to man.

Today wasnt as good as the last two days but it flew by pretty quickly. Im realizing how few 23 or 24 songs actually is in the big scheme of things. More to come tomorrow.

Songs to go: 8,439
Days left: 362
