Hidden Gem: "Royal Station 4/16" by Melissa Etheridge. Ummm melissa, did you pay attention in elementary school? You can reduce 4/16 to 1/4. Im just saying. Anyway, this song was actually really cool (haha i sound so surprised, but i mean its etheridge you know? sometimes she can be a little much).
Wonder Years award: "Both Sides Now" by Joni Mitchell. I think i remember hearing this song on the Wonder Years (best time period coming of age tv show EVER) and loving it. Oh wait... i think that was "Circle Game" by Joni Mitchell. OOoooh yeah. it totally was. Eh, in any case i think this song is great. I love the lyrics, you should check them out.
Gold Star: "Lovers Tonight" by Dave Matthews Band. This one is personal... i listened to it theraputically and often a few years ago. It poetically expressed what i could not at the time. Sigh. Gold Star.

Almost Gold Star: "Brass In Pocket" by The Pretenders. This song is AMAZING! I listened to it a lot over last summer. It is a great tune to drive to on a sunny day when you arent in a hurry to be anywhere.
